First Baptist intermediates (FBI)
5th and 6th Grades
6:00 to 7:00pm in the gym
Fifth and sixth grades are not what they were ten years ago. Today, the preteen world is filled with challenges that rival what teenagers go through regularly, and we want to be there to help them, equip them, and prepare them for the years ahead, emotionally and spiritually. Flyte Training is a series specifically designed to engage students in discussion and activities at their level, with their interests in mind. Occasionally, we will go off the beaten path and explore the difficult questions the Bible often presents us with. Are your kids ready to take on FBI Flyte Training?
Under 3 in Nursery in Children's area
3 years-old through Pre-Kindergarten in Room CH115
Kindergarten - 4th grades in the gym
6:00 to 7:00pm
Kids will be able to plug-in to God’s word and charge themselves up! Through high-energy games, snacks, and Bible lessons, your kids will have fun while they learn about how God made them, how truly unique they are, and the Biblical truths which make up a true picture of character.
DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) - 6:00pm to 7:00pm (Starting August, 2016), Room CH215
A DivorceCare for Kids group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend, games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward.
For security purposes, we ask all parents to check-in their children through our KidCheck computer system before each program. Kiosks are located in the hall beside the Kids' Park entrance. To save time, first-time guests may choose to pre-register their children through the KidCheck website which can be accessed by clicking here. First Impressions volunteers are available on Sunday mornings to direct guests to these kiosks as well as to the nurseries, Kids' Park, and classrooms. On Sunday and Wednesday nights, please contact a Children's Ministry volunteer in the Kids' Park for directions. In addition to the check-in system, security people are stationed in the children's area during normal programming times.
