Knoxville Inner City Kids Outreach (KICKO) is a para-church ministry founded in 1995 to foster a culture of holistic transformation by mobilizing the message of hope to the children and youth living in our urban communities. This is done through a unique program called Sidewalk Sonday School, where large trucks, outfitted to reach into these communities allow volunteers to share the gospel with children at multiple locations each week. Each week throughout the school year, elementary-aged children hear a Biblical message that is designed to encourage them to make God-honoring choices, and the children are brought to a point of decision encouraging them to follow God.
Members of First Baptist Church are an integral part of the Blount County Kicko that meets in the former Fort Craig school location.
