DAVID WARREN | INTERIM WORSHIP & MEDIA PASTOR

David Warren has been on staff at First Baptist since June of 2020. David is a native Tennessean by birth but grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman University with a degree in Church Music, concentrating in Voice and Tuba, and a graduate of the George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University with a Master of Divinity, concentrating in Church Music and Conducting. 

David has served churches on staff in Tennessee, Texas, and Alabama, and served congregations through PASSPORT Camps. He is frequently invited as a guest worship leader and speaker at youth, college, and adult retreats and gatherings across the country. David maintains memberships in the American Choral Directors Association, the Chorister’s Guild, and The Hymn Society. 

David is married to Katie (just recently on June 6th!), who is an Elementary School Music Teacher in Maryville City Schools.
