Orchestra in Classic Service
Our orchestra., directed by Bill Robinson, will perform with our choir and instrumentalists in the Classic Worship Service in our sanctuary..

Caregiver Support Group
Caregiver Cafe’ is a support group for those in our community who are caregivers—those who take care of family members and friends who suffer from chronic and terminal illnesses. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 9-11AM in the Snack Room of the Family Life Center. Participants will receive education, support, and companionship from the group, its leaders, and special guests. Due to the nature of this group, attendees should feel free to come and go as needed.
Thanksgiving
Blessings to you as we give thanks to God! We have much to be thankful for. The church office and the FLC Gym will be closed today.
Memorial Service
Family and friends who lost loved ones in 2024 are invited to gather together in the Encourager’s classroom (AM 107) for a time of comfort and remembrance.
New Beginnings Women’s Group
New Beginnings was established in 2022 to provide friendship, community, and spiritual growth opportunities for women in First Baptist Church and the Maryville area who find themselves alone in life’s journey.
It meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 1pm in room 215 of the Family Life Center, and it meets at other times as determined for social outings, meetings, etc.

Hope Lifters Grief Support Group
Hope Lifters is a bi-monthly support group for all those grieving the loss of a loved one. It meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month in room 203 of the Family Life Center. The sessions are designed to help people process grief through education, support, and friendship. Since we all grieve for different lengths of time, the loss could have happened recently or in years past. The group is faith-based and open to the community. There is no cost to join.

Paint and Praise
Ladies from our church and community are invited to join us for a Paint and Praise event. Local artist Raquel Roy will lead us in painting a picture to take home with us. The cost of all paint and supplies are included in the fee. The cost is $25 per person ($35 if less than twenty sign up). Sign up in the church office today or at hello@fbcmaryville.org.

We will have a Quarterly Business Meeting on Sunday, Nov. 3, in the sanctuary after the services. We will vote or affirm team members, council members, and deacons.

Joy Club (aged 55+) Tour of Brushy Mtn. Prison

The Daily Times Senior Expo
The Daily Times will be presenting a Senior Expo in our gym on Thursday, Oct. 19. It will be an afternoon of vendors, free health information, food, door prizes, and more.
