We will open up the sanctuary each Wednesday afternoon from 12pm to 1pm for individuals to come and pray.

All men are invited to join us for fun, food, faith, and fellowship in our FLC Snack Room.

Our worship will be magnified with the accompaniment of an orchestra in the Classic service in the Sanctuary this Sunday.

Caregiver Cafe’ is a support group for those in our community who are caregivers—those who take care of family members and friends who suffer from chronic and terminal illnesses. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 9-11AM in the Snack Room of the Family Life Center. Participants will receive education, support, and companionship from the group, its leaders, and special guests. Due to the nature of this group, attendees should feel free to come and go as needed.

Sign up now for the Holiday Crafting and Cookie Decorating Party. We’ll be painting tiered trays which can be used for cake or cookie plates, and we’ll decorate cookies. Cost for supplies will be $25. Girls in 1st through 6th grade may attend for $10 each. New Beginnings was established in 2022 to provide friendship, community, and spiritual growth opportunities for women in First Baptist Church and the Maryville area who find themselves alone in life’s journey.

It meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 1pm in room 207 of the Family Life Center, and it meets at other times as determined for social outings, meetings, etc.

We will meet for a Special-Called Business Meeting to affirm new deacons and announced candidates for Administrative and Pastoral Councils.

On Sunday, October 26 from 5-8PM, we will be hosting a church-wide Fall Festival at Camp Tipton! We will have everything from a bonfire, lawn games, food, live music featuring Jasper Hollow, and more. We are wanting everyone, from our littlest baby to our most senior adult to join us for this time of fellowship. The church will provide hot dogs, buns, lemonade, and water; we would love it if everyone would bring their favorite backyard BBQ side dish or dessert to share. We want this to be a time to come together. See you there!

Join us for a Hiwassee Loop Train Ride! We will leave by van from the FLC at 10:30am and stop for a delicious meal at The Farmhouse Restaurant in Etowah before boarding the train. The cost is $75 per person for transportation and train ticket. You'll pay for your own lunch.
