LINDA LAWSON | PARISH NURSE

Linda grew up in this church. She has been married to her husband, Carl, for 47 years. She has 2 daughters (Bethany and Tracey), 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. One of her favorite things is being at the lake with her family.

She has been a nurse for 46 years in areas including medical surgery, quality control and discharge planner, health department, labor and delivery, home health agency, and currently our parish nurse here at First Baptist Maryville since 2003. She currently has 85 members on her active list. She visit and calls periodically to check on them as needed. She co-sponsors Care Giver Cafe with Lori Bishop and Tender Care with Susan Morton. She helps coordinate Medical Blood Drives, caregiver conferences, Life Line screenings, annual flu shots, caroling to our homebound, and helps with other church activities as needed.

Linda has a metal lizard named Lester.
