BAPTISM

A celebration of your faith in Jesus.

Historically, the first step new followers of Jesus have taken is to follow His example through baptism. Jesus died, was buried, and rose on our behalf and He asks us to demonstrate our faith in Him by symbolically doing the same in water. The water has no power. Jesus gives us new life. But, it is important to publicly profess our faith, and the initial way that is done is through baptism. It does not make you a Christian. Only your faith in Christ does that. It also does not “wash all of our sins away.” It’s a powerful demonstration of what Jesus has done in your life. If you would like to talk a staff member about being baptized, please let us know! Our church would love to celebrate with you.
